The Platform
Fostering Strong Neighborhoods
As a Metro Council Member, Jennifer Gamble has worked to enhance the quality of life in the community by sponsoring legislation to keep our neighborhoods clean, safe, and affordable. In addition, she works to ensure transparency, community engagement, and continuity in plans for development of the area.
Improving Infrastructure, Environment, and Transportation
Jennifer Gamble has worked to garner more sidewalks,
traffic calming, MTA/WeGo bus routes, and stormwater improvements throughout the district. Successes include
new sidewalks on Brick Church Pike, Vailview Drive, and
Whites Creek Pike, plus a new WeGo crosstown bus route
from Parkwood to Madison.
Advancing Education Opportunity for All
Jennifer Gamble has sponsored and supported legislation
to fully fund Metro Nashville Public Schools, increase teacher pay, and expand access to childcare. She looks forward to continuing work to bring a public library in District 3.
