I am running for Nashville Metro Council because I want to work to enhance the quality of life in District 3 and throughout Davidson County, by initiating actions to keep our neighborhoods clean, safe, and affordable.
While our city has experienced tremendous growth, upgrades to the infrastructure, environment, and transportation have not kept up with development. I will work to get sidewalks on our major streets where it is unsafe for people to walk and catch the bus for school and work, and address stormwater runoff issues in established neighborhoods. I will support smart growth that enhances and preserves the diverse character of the community.
Access to quality education for all is essential to ensuring a healthy and prosperous community. I will support plans to fully fund our public schools, and build partnerships with community groups that provide educational, mental health, and social service programs in priority schools. Also, I will work to get a public library in District 3 for youth to have a safe place to go outside of school for access to books, computers and the Internet.
Join my campaign to ensure a bright future for our growing city.
